How to close remote desktop connection?

April 6, 2011 at 05:06:11
Specs: Windows XP
I opened a computer in other network via remote desktop(because I forwarded port in router)....and tried to access other computers in the network via remote desktop again from that computer but after I done, I don't know how to close the secondary remote desktop. There was one close button on the top, but if "close" it, whole rdp connection was closed. The secondary rdp connection is still open in the computer.

I haven't tried this but, within the console to the remote computer, right click on and open place of the task bar (of the remote computer) and select "Task Manager". Once that opens, highlight the RDP session and click "end task" TDone correctly, that should end the RDP session on the remote computer, not the one connecting you to that computer.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,

I am the captain of my soul.
