Specs: Windows 10
if a mistake is made in typing a web address a web site from my wifi home comes up I did not add this program to my computer is it attached to the wifi network

Not quite sure I follow what you're saying...

Can you be a little more specific; and perhaps include the name of the website that comes up?

Do NOT post any details of your wifi logon/password etc. nor any other personal contact information.

If you simply mean that if you mistype a given website address/name another (sometimes very similar but not always) pops up, then that's quite common.. Browsers seem to be configured after a fashion to have that happen. Usually Is I suspect due to tracking software/cookies that you have acquired when browsing variously?

But again more specific clear information might/would be useful here...

Also you may have acquired a third party search engine which came in via a website or download recently. These frequently install themselves as your default search engine.- uninvited...

So as earlier what is the website which pops up?

What search engine comes up?

Many ISP's have a search page that comes up when their DNS server can not find the host.
