This is the more complete setup manual for your dlink.

As I read it I presume the dlink comes with wifi enabled (This 1360 is an extender not a router as such) so things are a little different to that when setting up wifi on a standard router (which is what I was considering earlier in my previous responses).

It covers al the angles as best I can determine. Have a read and see if it helps you get going.

The default ip address for Dlink kit is 192.168.1.1, although I note they are using the one you have posted for this model.

Have you tried using that?

How are you connecting to the router?

Setup is usually via an ethernet cable connection to a computer, as usually wifi is not enabled by default on new routers/access points.

Not until wifi is enabled on the dlink router, and you need to enable that as above with a cat-5/ethernet connection to the router from any computer.

Frequently many computers users are using a router with an admin/home address that is slightly different to any subsequent kit (additional routers, extenders).

Typically, for example, their current router may use 192.168.0.1 and the new kit may use 192.168.1.1; and there are other variations too...

Once you are able to login to the router's home page you can make any required changes and settings etc.; including enabling wifi. However... once you have enabled wifi on the router and it's all working OK - do NOT disable wifi again via any mobile device...; as to do so will mean you are again unable to use wifi access, until you login agains via a computer and cat-5/ethernet cable and re-enable it.

You can use "any' computer to access the router's admin pages; and I note you have a MacBook... You can use that to access/enable settings and wifi...

How are you using the Macbook to get online at present; do you have another (presumably working) router? And if so - what make/model is that?

Also presumably you have an isp (broadband service) too?
