how do i add a second wireless router? Id like to add a second wireless router to be used as a wireless and wired access point for other devices. I need a step by step with numbers to punch in the second router to make this happen

Wireless router i`m presently using is a Linksys WRT120N,the second wireless router i want to add is a SMC SMCWBR14S-N4.Just need to know what numbers i need to punch into the SMC to use it as a repeater/wireless access device and what features need to be turned on/off.

type ipconfig

ip address is 192.168.1.1 ip address range is 192.168.1.100 to 149

usually that ip address would be that of the router.

on the link I gave you they used 192.168.0.1 for router1 and .99 for router 2

you could do the same just substitute the 0 for a 1

Yes,i was on the router settings page when you asked this question and got confused.My desktop ip4 address is 192.168.1.104 my laptop address is 192.168.1.100 I also have 2 other computers connected to my network,do you need those also? Thnx
