How do I unblock port 25 on server 2003

Specs: Windows Server 2003
Trying to get an MIS system back up after a total power outage and it looks like the notification service uses port 25 but it looks like it is blocked probably by McAfee

Port 25 should never be block because its the standard email port. you can check by going on the firewall settings. start, control panel, windows firewall,exceptions and then add port

Is there a firewall option in McAfee to open the port. if not connect to your router and add it in there. Depends on what router you have. But i dont think it wil be the router as that would not of been as effected by the power outage.

Check the McAfee settings. Depending on the version you're running, McAfee blocks port 25 by default.
