Solved How do I reconnect my Smart Blu Ray Player to the internet

October 12, 2015 at 18:38:59
Specs: Windows 8
I had it connect to the internet in the past, but unplugged for a while and recently plugged in and tried to use, but it will not connect to the internet. It connects local network, just not the internet.

Look up the make and model number on the companies web site and download the manual for it. That way you can follow the instructions you had the first time you installed it.
Please note that since you have not been specific on the make and model we cannot be more specific in our answers. In this case it would probably be the same answer except that someone might have looked up the web page and included the link.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Oh, sorry. The model is BD-D5700.

It was fine back in February, but I unplugged it because of concerns about water damage from ice dams. It was connected fine then, but won't connect now. I also have a Smart Samsung TV which connects fine. I troubleshoot with Samsung and they think it should be sent in for a repair. But I thought I'd try here first before giving up and buying a new device.

If you need your manual you can get it here:

If you troubleshooted it with Samsung then it might have to be serviced but recheck all of your connections and settings first.
