|I picked up a IBM Thinkpad lenovo T61 today and can't quite figure out this access connections software. It won't let me use windows wireless configuration software. |
I can connect it to an open wifi but there is no wpa2 just wpa option in the access connections software.
It has XP SP3 and I downloaded the newest driver I could find for the Intel 4965AGN but still no wpa2 options.
I'm not really fond of all this thinkvantage software on it but never owned one so not sure if it's safe to remove it. It seems like a pain in the azz as you have to use the software to turn on the wifi radio etc.
Any suggestions besides downgrading my wireless security? I figured i'd let my daughter use this laptop.
