Specs: Windows 7
Ifmy netgear router uses WPA2 must all my PCs do the same? One of my three laptops can only go to WEP....

Yes all laptops should have the same wireless security.
Check if you can upgrade the laptops wireless device driver to a more recent version that includes WPA2.

Unless you can do the upgrade suggested in #1 then you are stuck with lowering your router security setting to WEP and all the devices that use it. WEP is very poor security - claimed that it can be broken in minutes.

It might be time for a newer laptop.
