Solved How can I make a wireless connection?

Specs: Windows 7
I want to make a wireless connection between me and my friend,and the distance between us is about 1K . How can I do that ?

You would need to buy some fairly expensive equipment to cover 1 km. You would need two point-to-point antennas (directional) that are capable of bridging that distance. You would also need a direct line-of-sight between the two antennas so you would likely need masts of some type that you could mount on your roof and the antenna on the mast.

It would be more cost effective to use the internet (if it's available to you both).

Well, if you both have the internet you have a couple of options.

Which way you go depends on what you wish to do. So what we need to know from you now is, what exactly is it you wish to do? Are you connecting to play games, manage each other's computer(s), or share data?

OK. I just want to share data , just like when you connect two computer with across cable.

That would require a slightly more sophisticated approach than just gaming or remote administration.

The simplest, and least expensive method would be for both of you to have SOHO Router's capable of establishing a VPN tunnel. You would create the tunnel, and if you both used the same subnet, you could then move files back and forth between the two of you.
