Based on most cable configurations (network sharing), no reason why not. You just need to register the devices with your ISP to get them to work.

Curious, why do you want to do that?

willy stallard the correct answer is to buy and hookup to the existing modem a home wireless router.

It is unusual to have two modems on one line. This is due to the signaling type being used to get to the modem. If wanting two modems you would normally need two lines.

This is why home routers exist. One to many. One internet connection to many pcs.
