Solved Have a Belkin router and have forgotten the password.

September 10, 2013 at 12:02:27
Specs: Windows 7
Wish to use a Kindle Touch which previously belonged to my husband and he has forgotten the password. Have looked at the router for a "key" etc but rather confused at this stage.

Can you give me some simple instructions please! Network name is OK but do not know password.

The wireless key will be shown in the router's configuration utility which you can view in any web browser. Open a web browser, and in the address-bar type 192.168.2.1 and press <Enter>

The wireless key will be shown in the wireless section of this utility. You will have to type a username and password to get into that section. Provided nobody has changed the default login details, this is it:

Username: Admin
Password: no password is set at the factory, so leave that blank.
