Solved Forwarding an email to several recipients

Specs: Linux, Intel Core i5/4GB
We have in our organization an email address like "faculty@xyz.edu" so, whenever anyone sends an email to his email address, it gets forwarded to all faculty members and everyone receives this email in his personal inbox. I want to create similar facility in Gmail so that when I send an email to this 'gmail address', it can forward my email to all the members. How can I do this.
Regards

But this group cannot be used by other participants!!
For example, if I create a group titled 'fellow faculty', so only my gmail account would recognize it, others' gmail account would not. Am I right?

✔ Best Answer
After you have created your group,
turn ON Automatic Forwarding in your Gmail settings:

https://support.google.com/mail/ans...

See if that works for you

I am still confused. The Gmail Group is added in my account and is being recognized by my account. Now, If I send email to this group 'fellow faculty', it is forwarded to all group members.
But if a member of the group (say Bob), try to send email to 'fellow faculty' group, would gmail also recognized this group? Because there is no group titled 'fellow facult' in his gmail account?
