firewall branch office

Specs: WINDOWS
I have three branch offices and one main office.
branch offices are about 70 miles away. Each site has DSL.
I want to have a firewall at the main office and have the branch offices connect to the main office firewall before they hit the internet to filter traffic inbound and out bound. How do I connect these offices?

That's what MS has to say about it. ISPs over connection services too.

This just tells me how to connect a VPN. This does not really suggest the resolution to getting the branch offices to go directly to the firewall at the main site.

Personally, I think that is going to reduce network speed. That's why I also suggested WAN services from your ISP.
