Solved Find network passwords - not for router

Dell Inspiron 1464 notebook

Specs: Windows 7, 8 GB
A friend bought a new Windows 7 computer and his wife also has a Windows 7 computer. Both hardwired through router.

I had them "seeing" each others files/folders when clicking on "Network" in Windows Explorer.

When I installed the new computer it asked me for her "Username" & "Network" password. (Not "Home group" and not wireless). I believe that the name is normally the one in C/Users.

I don't know how to find her password and also his. And I would like to verify that the "User" name is where I think it is.

P.S. I know that my password is one I made and not one given by Windows or generic.

Thanks I'll ck it out.

I found this:

Found this:

Control Panel
Change advanced sharing settings
Turnoff password protected sharing

but I'll have to get LogMeIn enabled or get to their house to test it.

Did the above and "shared" folders with Full permission and got all but one folder working. Good enough for now.
