every web page states internet cannot display

Specs: Windows XP
Internet cannot display web page on every site I try. I have Cricket broadband for Internet.

Have you called Cricket? It would appear you are not making a internet connection.

You can confirm this by doing a ipconfig /all at a command prompt. If you see
0.0.0.0 or 169.254.x.x you are not making a connection to the internet

I have called cricket and they stated to get ahold of the company that made my computer. Can you please tell me how to do the ip comand thing, step by step?

Have a look on this check IP with ipconfig article to know what is the IP address assigned to your computer.

If you like GUI, then might have a look on this handy TEK911 Ip Config Tool.
