Specs: Windows XP
I am having some trouble figuring out the solution so if I could get some feedback that would be great, here's the problem. I have a main computer(1) that has an ethernet run from it to the Netgear router, from the router I have two more separate runs one going to a similar computer and another running to the front of my shop. I can access internet through both of the other computers but cannot share or use or even view files from the other two which are all on the same network. Please Help!

I just tried to check the settings of the firewall and a message came up saying " the settings cannot be displayed because the service is not running. do you want to start the ICS service?" I clicked yes and it told me i could not start the service....What now?

Your pc is misconfigured. You have a netgear router. ICS [internet connection sharing] is where you turn you pc into a router.

Remove ICS and disable one of the two lan interfaces. I assume you have two live interfaces since that is what ICS looks for.

ICS running is not the firewall running. Two very different services. Something is very confused there.
