Dual LAN of PC to share internet with laptop without router

Specs: Windows 7, 12
How can I use the dual LAN of my PC to share internet with my notebook? The PC is at school where it uses a static IP and I would like to avoid buying a wireless router for this purpose.

Get a crossover cable. Connect between PC & Laptop. Set static IP 192.168.0.1 in the NIC of the PC. Set 192.168.0.2 in the laptop. Enable ICS in the PC and set gateway & DNS as 192.168.0.1 in laptop. Not sure if you have to enable Bridge between the two NICs in the PC.

Here is a ms guide to ICS.

You don't want to set any static ips. Just leave all at dynamic and ICS will take care of it.

Answers are only as good as the information you provide.
