Draytek Vigor 2762 LAN to LAN

Specs: DrayOS, Unknown
I’m trying to set up a site to site link between two of these routers and I cannot find the option to specify the call direction so that one of them can be dial in

There seems to only be a dial out option

I am in the UK and the firmware ends with the letter is BT which is different to the Draytek live demo website which shows the firmware ending in STD so I am wondering if it is a firmware issue

Both routers are using dynamic IP addresses although one of them is supposed to be static but I need to call the ISP which is BT broadband on Monday to find out what the static IP addresses so maybe that’s another reason why I cannot see the dial in option on that router in the office

Any help greatly appreciated so I can rule out if this model is capable of site to site VPN link between two identical models or whether I need to get an upgraded model like the 2862 for example

The wizards do not show for VPN client and VPN server either which makes me think is it the firmware or something I haven’t enabled

This is what I’m missing, the call direction isn’t showing to choose dial in

I only have a dial out option below in the next section on both routers

Hi these links take me to google searches but nothing I can see in the results discusses why these options are missing

A Draytek forum may be the best place.

I’ve posted the same question on the Draytek forum however I did notice after updating to the latest firmware 3.9.2 BT that there is now another service called VPN Matcher which is a cloud based option to link both LAN

For anyone reading here is the link

I will still call Draytek tomorrow to find out why the live demo of the Vigor 2762 shows options for VPN Wizards and a Call direction option when you click on LAN to LAN but I suspect it’s because their live demo runs the STD firmware and not BT whatever that stands for

Spoken to Draytek they confirmed the 2762 is dial out only and the firmware on their live demo is the USA version which does support dial in

I fixed it myself using 3.9.2 BT and VPN Matcher
