DOS PC connect to laptop

Specs: Windows XP
Here's the thing, I need to set-up a station where my pc will need to run in pure DOS environment (not MSDOS) and connect to a laptop (WinXP) to save files. How can I achieve this?

run in pure DOS environment (not MSDOS)

To most people a pure DOS environment is MS-DOS. If it is not MS-DOS you want what other Disk Operating System are you proposing to use, DR-DOS. IBM-DOS.

Bearing in mind that there is no DOS in Windows XP, only a command prompt that just happens to emulate some DOS commands.

Hi StuartS,
Ok thanks for your reply. In that sense then I stand corrected.
What I mean is that the PC only runs in DOS. Do you have any
suggestions?
