Does The Atheros AR922X Wireless Network Adapter Support 5Ghz

I have recently bought a Atheros AR922X Wireless Network Adapter and I have had problems with connecting to a 5GHz router. When I connect windows connects fine but the router changes to a 2.4GHz.

So Does The Atheros AR922X Wireless Network Adapter Support 5GHz Internet Connections?
