D-Link DWR-730 Wifi Mobile Router doesn't seem its working

Specs: Macintosh
We just bought the DWR-730 Wifi Mobile Router and did all the setup as suggested by the manufacturer's manual but it doesn't seem like its working on any of our devices (Android, Apple, Microsoft). On the mobile router itself shows that there are devices connected to it but in actual fact we're unable to do so. For instance the google page won't open, instagram won't refresh.

We tried to look up for more tips on the D-Link website for more tips on how to troubleshoot this problem but it doesn't seem like there's any!

Someone please help!

Do you know the SSID (the name the router broadcasts on wifi) for the router? Also the password?

Does it show up in the list of available wifi access points as viewed in any of your devices?

When you set the router up, did you set up any type of security? Particularly any restrictions as to who can connect to it?

Incidentally, whilst (wisely) you haven't posted the SSID nor its password (more properly called its access control key) here now, avoid doing so at any time. No need of that information - especially the full access key.

You say that on the router itself it shows devices connected to it; where is it showing this information? What is that information?

Is your 3G SIM card activated? Do you have 3G reception on the modem??
