Dear all... I have one problem with our windows 2008 server when any user want to log in the domain from his computer, it takes long time. it takes around 5 minutes.
I have installed DNS on the same AD Domain. Is that OK ?
Secondly i have around 70 users and 4 ISPs.. Each ISP is used for specific data transfer. Each of the ISP is connected via ADSL Router to our switch
What do u guys suggest the best way to way to accelerate the log in procedure
Thanks.

One possible cause that you might want to investigate is detailed here: http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...
Hey ijack Thanks for your reply
but I guess you have not understood my problem. I am facing a problem with the domain users.. while trying to login from my workstation it takes time to authenticate it ...around 5 mins.
I hope i am clear this time
Thank You

This is a known issue. It is a result of the workstations not being pointed to the AD DNS server for dns but to the internet which does not know your server. Wkstations have to do broadcasts to get the answer to the name request for the server. Answers are only as good as the information you provide.
