Connecting Wireless Router to cable modem

Specs: Windows XP
I have a Motorola SBG900 Wireless Cable Modem Gateway that I'd like to network with a Scientific Atlanta cable modem so that I can set up a wireless network in my home. What do I need to do to make this work? Thanks!

You don't usually modem to modem. You replace the existing modem with the one you bought.
Have you read any of the documentation for that wireless modem?

http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/U...

First thing you want to do is logon to the present modem and gets its settings so you can match them in your new wireless modem.

There is nothing you can do with two Modems, one is enough unless you have two completely separate cables coming into the house.

As you already have a wireless Modem all you need now is a computer with a wireless interface controller and you have everything.

All you need do then is read the instructions.
