I bought a Windows Vista Labtop and I need to connect it on the internet but I live way out of town so the only thing to use is dial-up, So do I need a Wireless Router for this?

And if I do than What Type do I need to get and where can I find it???

A wireless router won't work with dialup. You need an external modem to connect.

most laptops have builtin modems so no external modem required.

Make sure you have a software firewall installed. Either use the builtin windows one or third party app.

Built-in modems for dialup may be a thing of
the past as is serial and parallel ports and
floppy drives. There are usb external
modems now at a moderate prices.
