Specs: Macintosh
I have an apple ibook G4, which can connect
wirelessly to the internet via the wireless router,
Belkin D link 802.11G, but I'm having trouble getting
the ibook to connect wirelessly to the printer via the
same router - and yet another computer in the room
does it no problem. I can see the printer on my
machine and printing works when I directly connect
the printer to the ibook via USB so am I missing a
step somewhere to get it to print wirelessly? Hope
you can help, thanks.

I don't know anything about Ibooks but is the router using WEP or any other encryption, where a key needs to be entered?

I'm not sure about WEP but the network authentication is WPA-
PSk if that helps - I don't know what all that means :). On the
HP printer configuration page it says wired, so I'm not sure
what I need to do to connect it so it shows wireless too.

Why does it say wired if the other machine in the other room is printing wirelessly? Does the printer have an IP address? Is it connected with a Cat5 cable to the router?
