connect Computer To Router

Specs: Windows XP
Hi everybody,

i have Modem - mobile connector.
it uses for one PC or notebook.
also i have router :
Linksys - Wireless-G Broadband Router with RangeBooster , Model No(WRT54GR)

i got interner from that Modem to one computer, and i need share internet with other computers.

if i can use the Router to make wireless network it will be great.

how can i do that in WinXp !?

You plug the Modem into the router and then any wired computers into the router. Once you have configured the router correctly wireless should be available.

Hey StuartS, I believe the OP is talking about one of those USB wireless mobile modems. They need to be plugged into a PC USB port

Sharing this connection then comes down to either Windows ICS or a third party proxy server prog installed in that host PC.

You would then connect an ethernet cable from the PC to a LAN port of the router.

It complicates the situation in that ICS requires the Host PC's network card to use ip

Some routers use that IP as the factory default so you get an IP conflict as soon as you connect the router.
