Hi .
My computer recently starts to hang everytime i start to surf the net/watch videos on youtube/play some basic online games(not requiring download). Thus, to solve the problem i went to check out my computer's ram. To my surprise it had dropped to 140mb (old model ram(KVR333X64C25/512)).Thus i went to get a new ram(KVR333X64C25/1G) and it showed 1.05gb on Avaliable physical memory. However, my computer started experiencing the same problems again.SOMEONE HELP!(is the reason because of my ram or something else?)

Do you have an antivirus program installed?

Do you have anti spyware software installed?

If yes, have you run them lately?

If no, then it's time you got some.

This sounds to me like a computer that's so stuffed up with spyware it can't run properly. I highly recommend Spybot S&D. There are others like AdAware that also work good. Chances are, you may need to install two or more programs to clean all the junk out of your PC.

I'm sure other people will respond with other ideas and recommendations so keep watching this string.
