Specs: windows 2003 server
Hi . I have client server setup running on Windows Server 2003 R2 standard edition platform.
From Server ,I can easily access client machine but when I try to access Server Machine from Client Machine,Pop Up comes out with message " No Network porvider accepted given Network path".
Although they both ping each other in regular manner.

Any Ideas??????

I searched that error message on google. One result was windows 95 related & others were firewall related. Do you have Norton or any other firewall running? Check all of them.

Thx for the reply.I dun keep firewall on .I have SEP on both ends.Searched a lot on google, but couldnt get it resolved. It seems there might be some connection with symantec latest definitions and its compatibility with Win 2003 server, but still one way traffic is moving as server to client access works..

Nothing is guaranteed if Symantec is running. It does whatever it wants, no matter what you say.

Ping the Server by its FQDN. Does it resolve?
