Changing prior configured hp 175x jetdirect ?

Specs: Windows 7
Hi, I have external175x hp jetdirect which was used in previous network environment with obscure ip address, gateway, etc. and I am unable to access this jetdirect using the prior settings (obtained from printing test page).

I have tried using browser access, have tried hp's network printer wizard and do not have the jetdirect CD.

How do I get reset the jetdirect configuration back to factory defaults so I can reconfigure ?

Or how do I access the jetdirect based upon prior configuration:

Prior ip address:, prior gateway:

New network is 192.168.1.x

A quick google of "reset hp 175x jet direct" yielded the following link:

Read the setup guide. If that doesn't give you enough info, you should be able to find the manual for that device using the above page as a starting point.

I am the captain of my soul.

configure your laptop/pc with a static address on the same subnet and use a crossover cable to connect to it. Should be able to use the web admin to reconfigure.
