Can't move files across network

Dell / Dimension dm061

Specs: Windows XP, Pentium Dual Core/2GB
Trying to find a solution to this issue. 2 XP Media Center SP3 PCs connected via Ethernet to router. PC A has Shared Documents folder with permissions set to allow 'Everyone' Full Control. Only Windows Firewall onboard, NOD32 virus scanner. PC B can see/open files from share on PC A, but any attempts to move or copy result in error message "your current security settings do not allow this action". Both PCs have IE6. What else can I try? Thanks.

It has nothing to do with IE6. Disable the firewalls on both PCs. File sharing has to be enabled on both. Put them in the same workgroup. That should do it.

Still no luck. They already were on the same workgroup (otherwise the files couldn't be seen/opened by the other PC) and even with Windows Firewall disabled on both I am still having the same problem. The response from AndyNet was one of the first things I looked at, but since both PCs are using IE6 not IE7 it doesn't apply. That's why I mentioned about IE6 in my original post.

Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Oh, and File & Print Sharing are already enabled on both.

I may have spoken too soon. I searched the error message on Google and some people say that IE has something to do with the permissions. So lower the security level or look for something in custom settings that might be blocking the transfer. I still don't see how it would matter but some sites are saying that it does.
