Solved Can't get WiFi in room in barn with metal roof 75 feet away

Specs: Mac
My room is in the barn and it has a metal roof and my Mac computer has weak signal or no signal. The room is approx 75 feet away from msin house. Help please

A homeplug could be a solution if the barn is on the same AC fusebox as the house.

A range extender may help. keep in mind that it needs to be placed where it can get the router signal.

What you need are directional antennas, one on the house and one on the barn [pointing at each other].

Or run a cat5e/6 network cable from router to barn. This maybe the better way of going.

Depends on the router. My router covers my house, yard, and down the street. 75 feet is not that far. You get what you pay for when it comes to routers.

Oh yeah,...that'll look GREAT! Pricey too!

Or run a cat5e/6 network cable from router to barn. This maybe the better way of going.
