Hi community!

I am setting up an internet-enabled TV ( Samsung LE 40 C 750R2KXXV ) via a dongle ( Samsung's proprietary model ).

There are two methods for connecting the TV to the Broadband. one Automatic one Manual.

Both methods ( says the User Manual from Samsung ) require that you press the WPS button - aka a PBC WPS button.

My router does not have such a button. It is a HwaWei EchoLife HD 520b. The only button is the On/Off button.

How do I proceed? If anyone has experienced this, thanks for shedding some light on the issue.

Not every HuaWei router has WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button aka a PBC (Push button configuration) WPS button. If no such button exists on your model, replace it with the one that has it. As far as I know current Linksys & D-Link brands are WPS capable.

Or do the alternative setup which is the old fashioned manual method
