cant connect to wireless networks

Specs: Windows 7 32bit
Just today my laptop was unable to find any wireless networks. Usually there are tons! i have a HP dv6700. I use a 2wire 2701hg-b router,and i know its working because the other laptop is able to connect no problem. Also i can connect directly to the router by ethernet cord and it works fine. Help plz.

Has the wireless been disabled or turned off? Perhaps your wireless is kaput and you can buy a usb ethernet thumb drive for $30.

My switch is turned on, believe me i checked a million times. Like i said it works fine when connected by ethernet. I also unistalled the drivers and reistalled but to no avail.

I tried the article but nothing worked.looks like I am going to get a new wireless card :/. Anyone know a good place to get the internal ones? I don't want a USB type either but that is all i can find.
