my internet was connected years ago from bellsouth (at&t now) directly to my desktop pc (xp) now I bought a new laptop (windows 7) and a netgear n300 wireless router. I connected the ethernet cable directly to my router. and my desktop (physically) to the router. I did the set up for the router for the wireless network. my desktop pc has a internet connection but I can't connect my laptop wireless. my laptop connects to the network but it says "limited access" and shows no network or internet connection. help please
I connected the laptop directly to the router and did a homegroup on windows 7. when I disconnected the cable it kept working wireless for some reason. I'm not sure if that did the trick. but now it works... thanks for your help anyways
