Can't connect to Netflix

Specs: Windows 7
I have a JVC TV and Samsung bluray DVD. I tried to connect for Net flex but it didn't work. I am a 66 year women with not many tech skills

I gather you are trying to connect your TV to the internet. You will need to use your network name and network pass key (password). These will be the same ones as any other device you already have running on the internet, such as a computer. The exact settings will depend on the TV make and model number. Once the network is up and running it should just be a matter of selecting the Netflix app.

Which of your devices is "smart"; the TV or the Bluray player? One or the other will have to be configured for the internet, if not wirelessly, then by a wired connection (ethernet cable). Do you have internet service? Instructions for how to configure your device(s) will be in their respective owner's manual.
