Specs: Windows XP
I have two computers, one can browse the internet perfectly fine the other cannot. This was not a problem till a few days ago. I was browsing and all off a sudden it just stoppped. I can not browse anything but I was downloading something at the time and it continued until it finished...

I can ping IPs but not names

Now I did Ipconfig/all and DHCP is not enabled, the DNS server isn't listed the DHCP isn't listed, autoconfiguration is also not listed. Obviously this can't be right and I don't know what to do. Thanks for any help and advice!

Post the output of both machines: ipconfig /all

That way we can compare them.

I can't right now, I am using a different computer at a completely different location, but I can tell you that they are both the same but the one that is no working is missing the information as listed above.

From what you say, you either have to enable DHCP or give it a static IP & static DNS.

Alright I will have to try static IP/DNS because for some reason DHCP just wont enable. Oh and thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
