Specs: Linux
Hi all,
I'm using Netgear WNDR4500 with Timewarner Cable. Now i can't go to routerlogin.net to update firmware ( trying http://192.168.0.1
or 192.168.1.1 ) I still surf internet with no problem. Who has experience with this situation please help me. Thanks a lot.

Why the need to upgrade firmare? Generally better to leave things as is unless there is a specific need to upgrade.

I agree with trvlr, however your router access should be 192.168.1.1 it seems. What exactly happens when you put it in?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

If 192.168.1.1 isn't working then you need to check the TCP/IP settings on your computer by opening a command prompt window (Windows Key + R then type cmd and hit Enter) and run the following command; ipconfig /all

Check the "default gateway" setting and that will be the IP address of the router and the one you need to use to connect to it's management interface.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
