So it seems to me, that the domain name is blocked at your ISPs side.

You can try to access the website by using the ip address instead of the domain name.

The IP address of godfathertraffic.com is 67.225.181.12.

What happens, if you simply configure another DNS server?
This might help.

Please send a reply, if you solved the problem !!!

My guess: you are typing www.godfathertraffic.com

The site addy is actually http://godfathertraffic.com/ (omit the www)

sry should have said I had already tried connecting with the ip and that didnt work either..

as for omitting the www. I never put that in for anysite.

havent tried to configure another dns server yet though...guess I should go figure out how to do that and try it...ty for all the help.. If you have anymore ideas would love to hear them...going to go now and see if I can figure out how to configure the dsn now.

I did not meant your IP, that is blocked.
If your ISP is blocking the IP or domain godfathertraffic.com, you will get such trouble.

So when using a proxy server, you will not access the godfathertraffic.com directly.
The proxy will manage it for you and returns the reply of that server to you.

What happens, when you simply try a tracert at a command line prompt.
Will this end up at the IP 67.225.181.12 ???

Please send a reply, if you solved the problem !!!

In the first line of tracert, there should be listed the IP address 67.225.181.12.
Tracert should end up at foxhall.ventrino.com [67.225.181.12].

So if this does not happen, try to use this DNS server and see, whether it works or not.
194.25.0.60 or 194.25.0.68.

Post back the result.

Please send a reply, if you solved the problem !!!

This is exactly the last hop infront ot the godfathertraffic.com.

When I do the tracert godfathertraffic.com, I get exactly the above listed hop as the last hop before getting reply of godfathertraffic.com.

So if a simple ping godfathertraffic.com results in no response, I bet it's blocked by your ISP.

Thank-you so much for letting me know that..I will be calling my isp server again tomarrow and this time I will stop dealing with the techs that dont know what they are talking about and dont care...and I will have to talk to the supervisor and I guess tell them that either they do something or I will go to a phone line instead, and take them threw better biz.
