I am unable to launch Opera as it gives an error message C:\ Program Files (x86)\ Opera beta\72.0.3815.49\opera.exe - Unspecified errorI haven't deleted any files and don't know why this is happening. Also if I try to uninstall it, nothing happens.
How can I get this to work?
Another way. Go here in Windows Explorer, if you have the Chromium version of Opera.
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable
Right click on > Opera Stable & Copy. Save it on a Safe media, thumb drive for example. Now uninstall Opera & in the new install, go to Opera Stable, Copy & Paste the contents of the Opera stable you saved into the new. Obviously you will get requests to overwrite.
It's corrupted, uninstall it using Geek. Reboot & reinstall. Geek Uninstaller

Just Double click on the program in Geek, that you want to uninstall. If it opens a web page, close the web page & then wait for Geek to present the 2nd step.
Will uninstalling using this software remove my bookmarks/favourites from the browser? I wouldn't want that to happen.
"Will uninstalling using this software remove my bookmarks/favourites"
Yes, backing up all your important stuff is an absolute basic of using a computer. What other browsers do you have installed?
I will be able to work out something for you.
