Specs: Windows 7
hello, I have an issue here, I need to connect to various anonymus proxy servers, the ip's of which can be freely found on the web. I've tried doing this from a broadband connected computer and it's ok, but the thing is that when I try doing this from a computer that is tied to o router, it doesn't work at all. Can you please tell me why is this and what is the solution to this problem ?

Could be the hardware firewall built in to all routers - it may need re-configuring via it's web-based config manager. Single user modems don't usually have a firewall, hence the problem doesn't arise.

no, sorry, that's not the case, as the firewall of the router is disabled...

What do you mean by a broadband connected computer?

A router also connect using broadband so the statement doest make much sense.
