Cannot access to certain websites

June 14, 2010 at 00:52:18
Specs: Windows Vista
I think i'm banned from several websites as i access them too frequent. (please don't ask me what websites they are).
When i load the page, it either appears cannot find server or page not found.
What should i do to break the ban?
I tried renew my ip address but didn't help.
Thanks for help.

Normally, those error messages don't suggest a ban, unless the PC belongs to a school or workplace. Web site owners want traffic to their sites. They must be some wild web sites if we shouldn't ask what they are.

Well, any suggestion or solution then??
I'm actually quite certain that those websites have blocked me by some methods.

It seems strange that web sites that have nothing to do with each other would all decide to block your IP address.

Did you try another machine on the same connection to be sure that they are blocking your IP?

It could be a simple DNS problem. Run ipconfig /all from a command prompt & post the output.

Other than that, try a proxy server.

I never heard anything about a long loading period causing an IP to be blocked.

Are we talking about your home connection?

Yup. Home connection. Both modem and wireless router. I'm using the wireless.
