Specs: Macintosh
I have a 4 port router with a 50 foot ethernet cable running from the router to my ps3. I would like to be able to connect the ps3 the xbox 360, and a blueray player to the router. Is it possible to put a switch at the end of that 50 food ethernet cable and plug all three systems into the switch and run them all off that on 50 foot cable? or do I just need to buy more 50 foot cables and plug them directly into the router? I just don't like the to have so much cable to have to deal with if I can just pay a little more money and get a switch that would keep things neater.
