Can connect to VPN but not remote servers

April 15, 2011 at 04:59:54
Specs: Windows 7, 4/4GB
Hello,

Scenario 1
==============
My config:
OS: Windows 7, Network: Wirless Internet (wireless router)

I can connect to my VPN network using Cisco VPN client. But I <gras>CANNOT connect to remote servers (both Windows and Unix).</gras>
However, I need to <gras>add each server IP in my Motorola router config page under Port Forwarding to access each server.</gras>
I cannot keep on adding Individual IPs as all my other colleagues are able to connect to the same office network from home using same Wireless Internet provider and NO additional configuration (i.e. without adding IPs to Port Forwarding)

Scenario 2
==============
My config:
OS: Windows 7, Network: Wireless USB Broadband stick
I can connect to my VPN network using Cisco VPN client. And I <gras>CAN connect to remote servers (both Windows and Unix) FINE.</gras>
NO need to add any IPs to modem configuration(of course, as I am not using it.. :) )

So, what can be the problem and how to resolve it???

THis is URGENT as I am facing problems workin from home...

Thanks in advance,
Mandar

<config>Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0</config>

Is there any option like vpn passthrough in your routers setup?
And is it enabled? (It should be !)
