If you try to use your friend's Internet service from other location, I afraid it couldn't be done. You need to connect to his local network in order to use his Internet.

Am I to understand the you want to connect remotely to your friends computer so that you can use his high speed Internet.

If that is the case then forget it, it wont work.

How are you going to connect to your friends computer?

With your slow Internet connection I assume.

In that case that is all you will ever have, a slow Internet connection.

A network connection is only as fast as the slowest link in the chain and while you are using your slow Internet connection, that is going to be the determining factor.

You could connect to his Internet connection if you really wanted to but it would not achieve anything. You would still have a slow Internet connection,

I take you mean VPN, Virtual Private Network.

That would not achieve anything either, The only way you are going to get a faster Internet connection is via your ISP. No other way at all.
