Buffalo Model LS-X2.0TL NAS not connecting to network.

April 16, 2014 at 12:15:48
Specs: Windows 7, Kingston 4g
I've removed and reinstalled three times. I use the installation CD. The blue power light keeps blinking and according to Buffalo this means its connecting to the network or upgrading firmware, not upgrading. Running Win7 home premium, service pack 1.

You are connecting the NAS to your network (to the router ideally directly) via a cat-5/ethernet cable?

And have you installed the NAS Navigator windows?

This sounds like it could be a hardware issue. I would contact your manufacturer's support people and ask them about it.

I'm going to delete the other thread you started since this one, and it, are about the same device.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
