I believe I found it. Something managed to change the dns servers on my router. What ever route I chose from any computer in the house, it looked like a browser hijacker. Instead I guess it was a DNS hijacker. When I restored the DNS servers to be assigned by my ISP, suddenly everything worked! No more hijack sites. Now all I have to do is figure out how something managed to change the DNS on my router. Yes its password protected. No it is not accessible from external.
