Best Wireless-N PCI adapter ??

Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit, Athlon 3000+/2 GB RAM
Hi, I have a new AMD Quad Core Desktop that I want to add wireless N to.

One store recommended the USB adapter but I assumed PCI directly to the MB would be better.

All my wireless G stuff was Linksys and I was relatively happy with it.

Are there better brands?
Is PCI the way to go?

I wouldn't say that PCI is always better. I had to change by brother's PCI card for a USB adapter. The PCI card wasn't working well.

I have used both types of adapters, and frankly I prefer the USB type, mainly because they are portable. Here's one that I have used ... for a cheap adapter it has performed very well:
