Solved Belkin Wireless Router will not connect.

July 30, 2013 at 12:13:48
Specs: Windows 8
Belkin wireless Router Model F7D1301 v1 has stopped working. Indicator light stays at red. Computer screen shows "Belkin available with limited connection". There is no connection.
Modem OK (direct connection to computer via Ethernet cable excellent).
I have done all the usual things: Reboot modem and router. No apparent reason for error.
Do I need a new router or am I missing something?
Any help much appreciated.

Click on my name above in this response and read my “how-to” guide titled, “Troubleshooting Wireless Issues” and go through the steps listed there. This guide applies to non-wireless routers as well as wireless.
