What makes you think it is your Belkin Router at fault?

If we knew that we might be able to give you a solution.

On the other hand, it could be the game server, your ISP ot your computer.

Yeah, sorry bout that i didn't give much info there. Ok i upgraded about a week ago from a Belkin G to the N+. Had no problems with the G just wanted something a little faster that could do more. Well i followed the installation directions to a t ran the setup cd. It connected. I could do everything except while playing my online game it would disconnect me every hour. I called tech support they suggested i do what i have already done 10 times which is reset the router, my modem. I made a phone call to my internet provider and they couldn't help me either. They had me reset and enter new info. still no such luck. I have made sure that the game is excluded from the firewalls and such. I can take my internet connec from the Belkin and run it through the modem and every thing works fine except i can not run my lap top along with desktop. I am at witts end. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

I take it you are connecting via wireless.

If so is the wireless interface adaptor you are using rated for 801.11n. If not you are no better of than you were with the 801.11g.

If it is actually the router that is disconnecting you while the router still remains connected to the Internet then it would seem like an incompatibility between the router and wireless interface card.

The 801.11n specification has only recently been ratified and any equipment made before then is likely to be incompatible.
