Hi everyone, I'm trying to look for some defintion.
Heres the scenario, you have two servers, one in two different sites, and a server syncronises files as backup from one of the sites. The LAX office hold the main information. But incase the LAX office crashes, BOS office backsup so that files are not lost.
what is this process called and are there any links on how to do it?
much appreciated.
if you need anymore info id be happy to help
Remote synchronization is the first term that comes to mind. Backup & sync is another term. You will get results if you search for either term.
How do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is moving.
disaster recovery site or off site file redundancy are a couple of other terms to lookup.
